Shipping & Returns
International Handling for Fragile Craft
Orders are packed according to material: reinforced cartons for glass and ceramics, dry-protection wraps for bamboo and metal, and shock-resistant inner cushioning for heavy ironware.
Shipping quotes are confirmed before payment. Import duties, customs fees, and local taxes are the buyer's responsibility unless otherwise stated in writing.
Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery for eligible unused works. Custom requests, made-to-order pieces, and items damaged by improper handling are not eligible. Damage claims must be reported within 48 hours with packaging photos.
Privacy Policy
Collector Information Is Kept Deliberately Limited
We collect only the information needed to respond to inquiries, prepare quotes, process orders, arrange shipping, and provide aftercare.
Personal information is not sold. It may be shared only with essential service partners such as payment processors, carriers, customs brokers, and professional advisors.
Collectors may request correction or deletion of stored inquiry information unless we must retain it for order records, compliance, fraud prevention, or legitimate business documentation.

Private Acquisition Terms
Product availability, prices, currency conversion, and shipping estimates may change until an acquisition is confirmed in writing.
Natural variation is part of handmade craft. Minor differences in color, texture, patina, glaze, cut line, or bamboo grain are not considered defects.
Site content, photography, journal text, and curation language belong to Kogei Atlas or its licensors and may not be reused commercially without permission.
Press Inquiries
Editorial, Collaboration, and Image Requests
We welcome inquiries from editors, stylists, cultural institutions, and brand partners interested in Japanese craft, artisan profiles, or object-focused storytelling.
Press requests should include publication name, deadline, intended use, image requirements, and whether maker interviews or product loans are being requested.
Image usage and product loans are approved case by case, with credit lines and return logistics confirmed before release.
